We work exclusively on the basis of the General German Forwarding Conditions 2017 (ADSp 2017). The ADSp 2017 include limitations on liability that are less than the statutory liability. In Section 23, they limit the statutory liability for damage to goods in accordance with § 431 HGB in the amount of 8.33 special drawing rights per kilogram (SDR / kg) per claim or damage event to 1.25 million or 2.5 million euros or 2SZR / kg whichever is the greater, and for multimodal transports including sea transport at an unknown location of damage to 2 SDR / kg.
